We welcome Robyn Sharp back to The Garden with her breathtaking exhibition ‘Core Connection to Country”.
Robyn’s love of landscape continues with her recent paintings of the NSW South Coast.
Her way of working continues to change and evolve as she recreates and imagines the bush, hills and waterways that she loves so much.
Expressive use of colour and texture are becoming signatures of her style.
Join us for her opening night event Friday 10th March from 5pm-6pm. Enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival, and stay on to have a chat with Robyn herself!
Robyn graduated from the National Art School in the early ’70’s. With her degree in Art History she has taught in schools in Sydney & California. Throughout her life Robyn has been exhibiting publicly & privately in numerous galleries in Sydney, South Coast NSW, California, Toronto and London.
Robyn’s wide travels & studies in art history, sculpture and life drawing have resulted in her artistic influences being comprehensive. Specialising in Chinese, Japanese and Renaissance Art, she also takes an active interest in contemporary art. After many years of focusing on figurative sculpture and life drawing, her attention now lies with drawing and painting landscapes and abstracts.
Robyn has been the winner of several art awards & a finalist in the Mosman Art Prize. Robyn’s philosophy is to explore art’s full diversity of form, while keeping a mindful eye on the impact we have on the world emotionally, environmentally and physically.
