“The inspiration for creating always comes from Nature, its colours, texture & the movement of the Ocean. When immersed in the beauty of our landscape I connect with the shapes around me, never working from a photoalways working from sketches and memories. I feel this brings more freshness and an essence of abstract to my artworks.I work in Ink which is a very fluid medium and gives my artworks great softness and also with heavy impasto to bring out the raw texture of our landscape.” – Renee Kamaretsos
