Leaf & Bud: Shades of the Gum – Robyn Sharp

Robyn is a seasoned artist whose formal training began at the National Art School in the 1970s. Over the decades, her work has been exhibited widely both in Australia and abroad. She thrives on experimenting across diverse styles and mediums, often drawing inspiration from the beauty of her home in the Illawarra.

This exhibition presents her most recent pieces. In these works, Robyn captures the subtleties of the natural world – the shifting light, the exquisite variations of colour found in the leaves of the local gum trees, and the delicate interplay of sea, sky, and land. Through her versatile approach, she conveys the essence of the environments that continually surround and inspire her.

‘Leaf & Bud: Shades of the Gum’ is on display from Thursday the 18^th of September until Wednesday the 15^th of October and all artworks are available for purchase.
