We are excited to present a joint exhibition by Natalija Vocanec and Claudia Halley – two artists whose practices balance tradition, experimentation, and storytelling.
Natalija, founder and lead art educator at Da Vinci Art School, has been creating for over two decades and teaching for more than fifteen years. Educated in Fine Arts, she is highly experimental in her approach, working with acrylics, oils, encaustics, resins, and more. Her work, deeply inspired by nature, has been recognised as a finalist in the Basil Sellers Art Award and the Doyle Art Award on several occasions.
Claudia, also educated in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and Marketing, brings a love of European traditions – drawing on Renaissance, Baroque, and Pre-Raphaelite influences – into her practice. She has exhibited locally, painted murals for the University of Wollongong, and led workshops across the Illawarra, while building a growing reputation for her evocative oil paintings.
Together, their exhibition creates a dialogue between history and experimentation, materiality and imagination – inviting you to experience a world of texture, light, and wonder.
Join us for an exhibition opening event and opportunity to meet the artists – at 2:30pm on Saturday 23rd of August. Grazing provided and drinks available to purchase over the bar.
Exhibition is on display from Friday the 22nd of August until Wednesday the 17th of September and all artworks are available for purchase.
