Bruce Chanter Exhibition – Produce

Popular Berry artist Bruce Chanter will be exhibiting a collection of still life oil paintings featuring fruit, vegetables and other produce at The Garden from Thursday 20th January to Monday 7th February.

These beautifully rendered paintings each hero a type of fruit, vegetable, cheese, sourdough and other produce to create exciting images. Ideal for decorating kitchens, dining and entertaining settings in the home, the paintings feature fruits: figs, pomegranates, lemons, pears and vegetables like artichoke, aubergines, zucchini flowers, beetroot and pumpkin. Cheeses too are the subject of deft brushstrokes, almost good enough to eat!

About the Artist

Bruce Chanter has been painting and drawing all his life. He originally trained at the prestigious Julian Ashton Academy in Sydney during the sixties, later furthering his studies at East Sydney Art School. Bruce sees painting as a revelation of the places, objects and people he paints. His belief is that art should portray the more joyful aspects of life and hopes that his art is uplifting and experienced by viewers of his work.
